Role Description The Associate Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and execution of restorative, preventive, and basic endodontic and prosthodontic procedures. Daily responsibilities include performing clinical examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring adherence to infection control and safety protocols. The role involves educating patients on oral hygiene, discussing treatment options, and collaborating with other dental professionals and support staff for coordinated care. This is a full-time, on-site role based at the Loharu center, requiring consistent availability during clinic hours and active participation in the practice’s standards and procedures.
Qualifications
- Recognized Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree; valid dental registration/license as per local regulatory requirements.
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative dentistry, and basic endodontic and prosthodontic procedures.
- Knowledge of infection control, sterilization protocols, and patient safety standards in a clinical setting.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and colleagues, with a focus on patient education and counseling.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of dentists and dental assistants, and to adapt to established clinical workflows.
- Attention to detail in record-keeping, documentation, and adherence to ethical and professional conduct.
- Willingness to participate in continued professional development, training, and skill enhancement programs.
- Prior experience in a clinical dental practice is preferred but motivated early-career professionals are also encouraged to apply.
